I created this script in response to a post from Katrin Eismann , who wanted to be able to specify the number of duplicates to create with Photoshop's command.
This script is designed to replace (i.e., used in place of) the existingcommand. It has all same features, and even looks the same, but with the ability to enter the number of duplicates to create!
To download this script, right-click (Ctrl-click on the Mac) on the link below, and choose "Save Target As".
Duplicate Image (Copies)
Version: 0.1.1 (June 21, 2011)
Download for: Photoshop CS3+
Download the script and copy it into your "
Adobe Photoshop CS#/Presets/Scripts" folder.
After restarting Photoshop, the script should appear in themenu.
Tip: Did you know that you can use the Ctrl/Cmd+Alt/Opt+Shift+K) to assign keyboard shortcuts to your scripts? You can also record scripts within actions and then assign function keys to the actions.command (
If you use this script and find it useful, please consider supporting this site. Also, if need a custom script developed, contact me with the details and I'd be happy to provide you with a free estimate.
